Reflective Questions

• Spiritual growth involves an ongoing process of waking from states of sleep, it is not a one-off event or outcome. Can you identify the difference in the quality of an experience in a situation where you have been process-focused rather than outcome-focused?  Or have been initially outcome-focused but switched to being present in the process instead of worrying about how it would unfold? Can you compare and contrast these two modes of being from your own experiences?
• Take some time to go back over what you have journaled throughout this course. What questions have been answered for you?
• What questions and insights will you carry going forward?

• If your day-to-day life in the world is like the body or the literal text of the Word, then what might it look like to live from the soul rather than the body – to have your mind withdrawn from corporeal things as you go about your usual activities?
• Spiritual life is a continual work of giving up our ownership of life. What aspects of this do you find challenging?
• What else came up for you as you watched this?

Reflective Questions

• Can you think of an example where you were reminded of and applied what the Word teaches to a difficult situation?
• Can you think of an example where you didn’t remember to do this in another difficult situation?
• What was the quality of both of these experiences for you?
• Create a task now, that you can try over the next day or so, which will prompt you to remember that the Lord’s Love is always fully present for you to experience. Observe what happens when this is remembered and likewise when it is not.
